The mayor of Lleida, Fèlix Larrosa, visited the Port of Tarragona yesterday to establish a strategic alliance aimed at consolidating a strong and competitive logistics axis between the two territories.

The meeting with the Tarragona Port Authority (APT) primarily focused on learning about rail-port intermodality projects, which are crucial for improving the Catalan logistics chain.
During the meeting, which was also attended by representatives from Cimalsa, the importance of the future Torreblanca industrial estate and the intermodal freight railway terminal was highlighted for both the economy of Lleida and the port's operations.

"Catalonia needs a vision for logistics that promotes the axis formed by Tarragona and Lleida."
