The Castellers de Vilafranca have staged a historic day at Pla de la Seu in Tarragona, where they successfully built three 'gamma extra' castles in an unprecedented performance.

The event, held this past Saturday, featured the participation of the Castellers de Sants and the Xiquets de Tarragona. The Vilafranca group began their performance with the 3 of 9 with folre, consolidating their form ahead of upcoming seasonal commitments.
The highlight of the day was the 'torre de nou emmanillada', a structure the group completed for the first time this season after intensive work on the 'folre' and 'manilles'. The security shown during the execution was key to successfully achieving this goal.
To conclude the performance, the 'verds' built the 4 of 9 with folre and agulla, accompanied by a pilar of eight with folre and manilles. This final pillar marked a symbolic milestone, being the 200th of its kind performed in the modern era of the casteller world.
