The National Police and the Civil Guard arrested seven men with criminal records in November, dismantling four large marijuana plantations across Tarragona and Alicante.

The investigation began with the detection of a significant plantation in l'Orxa, Alicante, where nearly 3,000 plants and six kilograms of buds were seized. This discovery allowed the identification of the alleged perpetrators, men residing in various municipalities in Tarragona.
The detainees are between 26 and 33 years old and had previous criminal records for drug trafficking and violent robberies. Police coordination revealed that the same individuals were being investigated for plantations in three detached houses in Calafell, Cunit, and Roda de Berà.
After two months of investigation, seven arrests and searches were carried out in November, involving over 150 agents. During these searches, a hidden location used as a laboratory for processing and transforming the drug was discovered.
In total, the operation resulted in the confiscation of 4,300 marijuana plants, 12 kilograms of buds, six kilograms of hashish pollen, 2,000 euros in cash, a stun device, a weapon, a frequency jammer, and a vehicle.
