The URV's Catalunya Campus in Tarragona has hosted the inauguration of the 3rd International Congress of Feminist Anthropology, bringing together 632 experts to debate current feminist issues.

The Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV) in Tarragona has opened its doors for the 3rd International Congress of Feminist Anthropology, an event running until July 3rd. The gathering has brought together 632 researchers, academics, and activists from various countries and universities, filling the Aula Magna of the Catalunya Campus.
The congress president, Dolors Comas d’Argemir, emphasized the importance of relying on scientific evidence to demonstrate the inequalities that women still face.

The inaugural lecture was delivered by Colombian anthropologist Mara Viveros Vigoya, who analyzed the mechanisms of the far-right and how gender is frequently used in their arguments.
Throughout the congress, 39 symposiums will be held, comprising a hundred sessions and the presentation of over 500 communications.
