The Mirades Creuades project aims to reflect on the reality of women facing vulnerability. Through photography, the initiative seeks to break stigmas and provide a space for personal recognition for participants, many of whom had not had their portrait taken for decades.

The experience served as a therapeutic tool to strengthen the users' self-esteem. According to organizers, the process allowed many of them to feel like the protagonists of their own lives again, freeing themselves from the burden of traditional roles that often made them forget their identity.
