The club officially introduced its two latest winter signings: veteran center-back Pedro Alcalá (36) and young French winger Keyliane Abdallah (19), who arrives on loan from Olympique de Marsella. These additions are designed to provide complementary profiles to the squad.
Alcalá, who has signed until the end of the season and has already debuted, emphasized his good physical condition and his commitment to guiding younger players. He noted that he feels ready to provide the necessary experience to the talented but young group.
“"I will try to help them in everything I can. They are young people with a lot of talent and level, but perhaps they lack that experience that I am going to give them."
Abdallah expressed excitement about his move to Tarragona, noting the city's resemblance to Marsella. The French footballer defined himself as a “technical, deep, and fast player” who can operate across the three attacking positions.
“"I have full confidence in myself and my teammates. Pressure does not affect me or them because we are professional players."
