Martinenc had everything ready to celebrate their promotion to Tercera Federación, but Pobla de Mafumet spoiled the party by winning 2-3 at the Municipal del Guinardó. The visitors quickly took the lead, and although Tejada's goal restored parity, two more goals from Pobla de Mafumet in the second half sealed the match.

The match started with a tough blow for Martinenc, who conceded an early goal from Ciuró in the seventh minute, putting Pobla de Mafumet ahead. Despite the cold and rain, the home team, led by Toni Carrillo, did not give up and dominated the play. Their persistence paid off in the 37th minute when Edgar Tejada scored to make it 1-1, unleashing euphoria among the fans, as this result would have been enough to secure promotion.

However, the second half was a cold shower for Martinenc. In the 47th minute, Cabezas scored to make it 1-2, and just seven minutes later, Querol made it 1-3, practically sealing the game. Although Dani Suárez pulled one back in the 74th minute, and a penalty hit the crossbar by Sosa in the 87th minute almost meant an equalizer and promotion, Martinenc will have to fight for promotion on the final matchday of the league.
