This training, one of this year's new features, will be provided before the final gala with the aim of helping selected artists improve their stage presence. The deadline for submitting applications is October 7th.
The contest, aimed at singer-songwriters over 18 with their own compositions, accepts any musical style, instrumentation, and language, promoting creativity and diversity.
Beyond the competition, PortAutors-es supports artists through the Projecte Família PortAutors, featuring training sessions by cultural professionals, and PortAutors en Xarxa, which fosters collaboration between festivals and programmers to create performance opportunities.
To enter, participants must complete the registration form by October 7th, 2026, submitting three original pieces, a technical sheet, and graphic material. A jury will select six finalists and four reserves.
The final will take place on November 21st at 6 PM at the Teatret del Serrallo, where finalists will perform their compositions for the jury and the public. The gala will conclude with the awarding of five prizes.
The awards include performances at festivals such as Santa Tecla or Eufònic (Jury Prize), material for music recordings (Audience Award), musical training (Local Artist Award), a performance at the Fira de Música Emergent i Familiar de Vila-seca (FIM) 2027 (FIM Vila-seca Award), and the production of a professional music video in the port area (Port Tarragona Award).
With this edition, PortAutors-es continues to establish itself as a leading platform for promoting new singer-songwriter talents.
