The theme park PortAventura, located in Vila-seca and Salou, has announced the end of the nighttime show FiestAventura, which has run for 27 seasons on the Mediterrània lake.

After 27 seasons, the well-known FiestAventura show at PortAventura will say goodbye on September 5th. This show, one of the most emblematic at the Costa Daurada theme park, has been performed nightly during high season on the Mediterrània lake.
The resort is already working on a new show proposal for the 2027 season, which will also use the lake as its stage. According to an internal statement, the closure is part of PortAventura's commitment to continuously surprise its visitors.
During the month that FiestAventura will still be performed, participating artists will stay after each show for a special farewell to the audience. Additionally, the original theme tune from 27 years ago will be played.
FiestAventura, which premiered in 1999, was a pioneer in Europe for nighttime shows in theme parks. It received the award for best live entertainment spectacle worldwide at the Thea Awards (Themed Entertainment Association, TEA) in 2000. The show combines pyrotechnics, water, and music, and since last summer, it also includes a drone show.
