The workforce of PortAventura World has ratified a new collective agreement in an assembly, setting the labor framework for the Tarragona resort from 2025 to 2029.

The approval follows a period of intense negotiations that nearly collapsed last week. By backing the deal reached between management and unions, employees have dismissed the possibility of a strike that could have disrupted the upcoming season.
Mediated by the Generalitat's Department of Business and Labor, the agreement includes salary increases and better conditions for work-life balance. This stability is seen as crucial for the continued growth of the Costa Daurada theme park.
The resort is now set to begin its full-time schedule, operating every day of the week and featuring the reopening of the refurbished Dragon Khan roller coaster.
