The PortAventura World resort, located in Costa Daurada, launches its new season this Friday, February 27, with the fourth consecutive edition of its Carnival celebration, running until March 22.

This year's edition introduces a fresh creative direction for street performances, tailored to the specific themes of the PortAventura Park areas. Moving away from traditional Brazilian or Venetian styles, the event highlights five local troupes from Tarragona: Pandora, Sinhus, Artifex, Colours Fantasy, and Torres Jordi.
Over 70 dancers will take to the streets in daily parades, debuting new costumes and choreography. Key performances will take place at Plaza Yucatán and Penitence Station, complemented by an energetic batucada and the family-friendly show Carnival Magic Bubble.
Regarding opening hours, the park will be open to the general public on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM. However, +PortAventura Club members and hotel guests will enjoy exclusive access on Friday afternoons. Starting March 26, the resort will transition to daily operations.
