The technical incident affecting the railway infrastructure forced the suspension of R15 train circulation between the stations of Tarragona and Reus starting at two o'clock on Monday afternoon.
Sources from Adif detailed to the ACN that the problem originated from a lack of tension in the catenary, preventing trains from running normally through this critical section of the network.
The alternative bus services established to cover the R15 line route will be extended to the Tarragona station, making all intermediate stops.
Following the incident, Renfe activated an alternative road transport plan. Initially, buses covered the route up to Reus, but they were later extended to the Tarragona station, covering all intermediate stops on the line, which connects Barcelona with Móra la Nova and Riba-Roja.
