The project focuses on the Escatrón-Els Aubals-La Secuita axis, replacing infrastructure dating back to 1968. This upgrade is essential for the Camp de Tarragona petrochemical hub, facilitating its transition towards cleaner energy sources.

The new line will increase energy capacity from 450 MW to over 3,000 MW. Spanning 170 kilometers, the project affects 33 Catalan municipalities and is currently undergoing public review before construction begins in approximately two years.
In 2026, the company plans to spend 56 million euros in Catalonia, as part of a broader investment strategy that includes grid improvements in Barcelona and new connections with Andorra.
