The event pays tribute to the historical concession granted by King Alfonso II in 1194. This document was essential for the town's development, as it authorized the creation of a weekly market that established Salou as a key commercial and strategic enclave in the Camp de Tarragona region thanks to its natural port.
This year's program includes 21 craft stalls offering products such as jewelry, leather goods, woodwork, and traditional food. The venue will be open to the public on both Saturday and Sunday, from 11 a.m. until midnight.

The schedule of activities is completed with a theatrical recreation of the delivery of the Population Charter, performed by the Escola de Teatre Ahura, and performances by the Colla Gegantera de Salou with the giants Pepot and Nena, scheduled for Sunday.
