Torredembarra Town Council has invested €99,155.04 in improvements and maintenance for its three public schools during the summer holidays, aiming to renovate facilities before the new academic year.

The work has been carried out at the Antoni Roig, Molí de Vent, and l'Antina schools. Projects include comprehensive renovations, patio adaptations, improved rainwater management, and painting tasks, ensuring minimal disruption to daily school activities.
At the Molí de Vent School, the patio restrooms are undergoing a complete renovation to create more accessible spaces, alongside leveling an outdoor area and repainting. At the Antoni Roig School, dining hall tiles are being replaced, and a drainage zone for rainwater has been established.
Meanwhile, the l'Antina School will see a new parquet floor installed on its stage, repairs to the gymnasium pavement, and the addition of a new rainwater drainage system outdoors.

"These are necessary works to maintain and improve the facilities, ensuring they are in good condition when the new term begins."

These summer investments will be supplemented by a €250,000 grant from the Generalitat de Catalunya. The council has already begun discussions with the schools' management teams to identify priority needs and plan future projects with this new funding.
