Sixteen Tarragona restaurants awarded Michelin 2026 recommended plaques

CaixaBank has officially presented the 2026 Michelin Guide plaques to sixteen restaurants across the Tarragona region during a ceremony held at the Auditori de Girona.

The event recognized 89 establishments across Catalonia for their culinary excellence. In the Tarragona area, 16 venues in cities such as Reus, Cambrils, and Tarragona city were highlighted for their commitment to quality products and innovative techniques.

Awarded restaurants include El Terrat, Ferran Cerro, and Hiu. Catalonia currently holds nearly 20% of all Michelin-recommended restaurants in Spain, with 151 establishments showcasing the region's gastronomic strength and cultural impact.
