The filming of the movies dedicated to John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr has transformed the area around Nàstic, with dozens of trucks and motorhomes occupying the club's parking lot. This major production required a complex setup including racks of period clothing, catering services, and mobile dressing rooms, all operating precisely to recreate the 1960s atmosphere.
The Penelope agency held a casting call for extras for the shoot in Tarragona and Salou, seeking individuals who could blend in with the 'Beatlemania' fans of the era. It is expected that schools like La Salle and the changing rooms of Nàstic de Tarragona may serve as key locations in recreating moments of the band's history.
For the planned filming in Salou, particular emphasis was placed on finding young women for extras, who will need to appear in period swimwear. This massive operation leaves a visible mark on the city, transporting its residents to another time.
The organization of the shoot operated like a Swiss watch, with accredited and non-accredited personnel, bus drivers, and technical teams working in coordination. Although the major stars remain behind the scenes, the spirit of the 60s and 70s permeates Tarragona.
