The Vedruna Catalunya Education Foundation is organizing a major institutional event this Saturday in Tarragona to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Carmelite Sisters of Charity Vedruna.

Schools in Tordera and Malgrat de Mar have developed a special program, including the Bicentenary Cantata at the Clavé Theatre in May. The celebration also features an alumni reunion scheduled for the end of the academic year.
The official commemoration will conclude at Montserrat with the unveiling of a sculpture of Saint Joaquina de Vedruna, created by the artist and teacher Jordi Coll.
