The project design has a base budget of 142,910.08 euros, with a deadline for bids set for March 31st. The goal is to revitalize the area through a comprehensive urban reform that will take approximately six months to plan.
The first phase of the works, covering Prim square and Apodaca street, is included in the Catalonia Neighborhoods Plan 2026-2030, with an estimated investment of 3.1 million euros. A second phase will follow to complete the renovation of Unió street.
Key changes include transforming Unió and Apodaca into one-way streets to prioritize pedestrian space. The project also emphasizes landscaping and green areas, aiming to turn Prim square and Sant Joan square into high-quality meeting points for residents.
