The Museum of Mathematics of Catalonia (MMACA) in Tarragona celebrates its first anniversary this Saturday, March 14th, with the opening of a new gallery at the Municipal Institute of Education.

The new space features three sections: Mathematics under construction, focusing on architecture; Space is important, dedicated to spatial visualization; and a collection of manipulative puzzles designed to challenge strategic thinking.
To mark Pi Day, the museum has organized family workshops such as Leonardo's Domes. In its inaugural year, the institution welcomed over 20,000 visitors, including 6,500 students from across Catalonia, with projections to double family attendance this season.
