The Catalan Meteorological Service predicts a significant weather improvement in Tarragona starting this Monday, ending several days of persistent rainfall caused by Storm Regina.

The severe weather episode was particularly intense in southern areas and mountain ranges. The highest record was found in the Els Ports Natural Park, where 275 mm accumulated between last Thursday and Sunday morning. Other towns like Tivissa and Prades also experienced heavy storms.
In the Montsià region, data confirms the storm's magnitude with significant records in Mas de Barberans and Ulldecona. These rains have given way to a meteorological truce that will last throughout the week across the region.
The Meteocat forecast indicates that sunshine will be the main feature, especially from Wednesday onwards. This change will be accompanied by a rise in temperatures, with maximums exceeding 20 degrees Celsius.
