According to the Criminality Statistical System, Tarragona city recorded 31 cases of sexual assault with penetration, the highest absolute number in the province. Tortosa followed with the largest percentage spike, rising by 133.3%.
Other municipalities such as Valls and Calafell also reported significant increases in sexual offenses, reflecting a general upward trend across the main urban centers of the Tarragona province.
