Tarragona's Moll de Costa closes 2025 with nearly 144,000 participants in 260 activities

The port area solidifies its status as the "Rambla of Culture" and a sports hub, hosting 25 exhibitions and major festivals.

The Moll de Costa in Tarragona concluded the 2025 financial year with an excellent balance, registering 143,936 participants across the 260 cultural, sports, and leisure activities programmed throughout the year.

The exhibition spaces, including the Tinglados and Refugis, hosted 25 shows that attracted 32,584 visitors. Furthermore, the Port Museum received 27,996 visitors, while the Teatret del Serrallo recorded 5,644 attendees across nearly a hundred events. The Port Archive registered 571 users in 14 cultural activities.
The Christmas programming was a major success, gathering nearly 20,000 people, with the Magatzem Reial standing out with 8,000 attendees. The traditional arrival of the Three Kings of the East also contributed, bringing together over 3,000 people. The port area also reinforced its sporting side, with 13 of the 40 outdoor activities dedicated to sports.
The Moll de Costa was the setting for major events, such as the second edition of the digital culture festival Now Fest, which welcomed over 2,500 people to Refugi 1 on September 26 and 27. Likewise, the historical reenactment festival Tarraco Viva concentrated its first weekend activities at the pier, totaling 14,335 attendees across the various port spaces.
Among the 25 exhibitions offered by the Port Authority and the SCAN festival, highlights included proposals such as El peix no cau del cel by Nuri Mariné, Big Parade. La processó d’hivern by Ignasi Blanch, and Fars i balises by Josep Poblet, solidifying the pier as Tarragona's "Rambla of Culture."
