The Tarragona Provincial Tourism Board has renewed the Córner agreement for the eighteenth time, mobilizing 31 entities to optimize the tourism promotion of the Terres de l'Ebre during 2026.

The Córner agreement, reaching its 18th edition, is consolidated as a space for strategic collaboration between the public and private sectors. This initiative aims to generate synergies, define common objectives, and articulate a joint strategy to maximize the impact of promoting the Terres de l'Ebre destination.

"The Córner agreement values a collective and generous perspective, which takes into account the shared interest of all destinations, respecting the uniqueness of each one."

Noemí Llauradó · President of the Diputació de Tarragona
The total investment for the Córner 2026 agreement amounts to 189,518 euros. Of this amount, 71,450 euros will be specifically allocated to fairs and promotions, while 118,068 euros will be dedicated to communication and marketing actions. The Tourism Board initially assumes the entire investment, subsequently recovering 22% through contributions from the signing entities.
In total, 31 public and private entities are part of this agreement, including city councils, county councils, tourism associations, and chambers of commerce, reinforcing the commitment to a coordinated and competitive tourism model. The president of the Tourism Board, Enric Adell, emphasized that this longevity “represents a continued commitment that allows us to learn together, adjust strategies, and consolidate results with a forward-looking perspective.”
Among the operational actions planned for 2026, joint participation of the Terres de l'Ebre in various international and national fairs is included, such as the Fiets & Wandelbeurs in Utrecht and Ghent, the Copenhagen Bike Show, FITUR in Madrid, and B-Travel in Barcelona. Furthermore, the agreement is framed within the development of a responsible and sustainable tourism model, aligned with the values of the Terres de l'Ebre Biosphere Reserve.
