Drivers in Tarragona are flocking to the Francolí Industrial Estate this March to find the city's lowest fuel prices amidst rising global energy costs.

In a period of continuous price hikes driven by the conflict in the Middle East, finding the best rates has become essential. In Tarragona, a specific area near the Ponent neighborhoods and the local funeral home hosts the three cheapest stations in the capital.
The Tamoil station on the Salou Highway currently leads the ranking with petrol at 1.627 euros per liter. Other competitive options include BonÀrea in the Icomar district and GM Oil near the Gros Mercat wholesaler, both offering rates significantly below the city center average.
According to the Ministry for the Ecological Transition, these industrial area stations provide a vital alternative for consumers. Experts from the OCU suggest that comparing prices can lead to savings of up to 19% depending on the chosen provider.
