The rain storm has left a significant mark on the province of Tarragona, causing floods, affecting vehicles, and leaving streets completely submerged. Locations such as Roda de Berà, El Vendrell, Creixell, and Torredembarra have been among the most affected by this meteorological event.
The consequences of the severe storm have resulted in 11 injured individuals and approximately 830 calls to the emergency number 112. Furthermore, hundreds of incidents related to the downpours have been recorded.
Images from the affected areas show the extent of the damage, with streets turned into rivers and vehicles swept away by the force of the water. The intensity of the rainfall exceeded 140 liters per square meter in places like El Vendrell and Torredembarra, with some areas potentially recording over 200 liters.
