Railway infrastructure manager Adif has confirmed the suspension of train services between Catalonia and Valencia this Thursday, February 19, between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM.

The safety measure follows a Ventcat alert issued by Civil Protection. Storm Pedro is expected to bring gusts over 100 km/h to the Tarragona region and southern Catalonia. The suspension specifically targets Euromed and Intercity long-distance routes.
While Rodalies local trains remain operational for now, authorities warn that schedules may change depending on weather conditions. AEMET has issued orange warnings for the area, with peak gusts potentially reaching 120 km/h in some coastal and mountain locations.
