This initiative is part of a collaboration between firaReus Events and the social center to manage food waste. The event, organized by the Federation of Hospitality and Tourism of Tarragona (FEHT), attracted 6,900 professionals.
More than 120 exhibitors provided fresh meat, fish, bread, and prepared meals. These items are already being used by the social pantry and dining hall to provide high-quality meals to vulnerable citizens.
Managed by the Reus City Council, the El Roser Social Center continues to establish partnerships to optimize resources and fight food waste while supporting the local community.
