The fair has grown significantly, now featuring over 120 stands and 70 exhibiting companies. Xavier Guardià, director of the event and spokesperson for the FEHT, emphasized that the goal is to provide local professionals with a specialized platform close to home, covering everything from food services to renewable energy.
“"We are a service country, we are world leaders, and we must insist on this to the administration."
A key highlight is the Work in Tourism day on March 3rd, where 40 companies will offer 2,100 job openings. With tourism accounting for at least 26% of the local GDP, the event addresses critical challenges such as seasonality and the urgent need for qualified staff in hotels and campsites.
