The Camp de Tarragona region celebrates an intense festive and gastronomic agenda this January weekend, featuring the Great Calçotada Festival in Valls and various traditional fairs.

Gastronomy is the highlight of the agenda, with the celebration of the 44th edition of the Gran Festa de la Calçotada (Great Calçotada Festival) in Valls this Sunday. This festive day champions the calçot, an emblematic product of the Alt Camp, and includes tastings, workshops, parades, and a market.

The traditional Calçot Eating Contest will be one of the main attractions of the gastronomic day in Valls.

Simultaneously, the Conca de Barberà region hosts the historic 460th edition of the Fira de Sant Vicenç (Saint Vincent Fair) in L'Espluga de Francolí. This cultural, commercial, and festive event began on Thursday, January 22, and concentrates the bulk of its activities over the weekend.
The final events of the Winter Major Festival in Vila-seca, honoring Sant Antoni, are also concluding. Notably, the horse races postponed due to last weekend's storm will take place on February 8.
Finally, the cultural agenda is complemented by the exhibition proposals at the Port de Tarragona (Port of Tarragona). The exhibition 'Masters of 20th Century Sculpture' can be visited at Tinglado 2 of the Moll de Costa, along with two displays at the Museu del Port: 'Dones de Mar: Oficis amb nom de dona' and 'Allognathus: The Mysterious Snail of the Wall'.
