The Vila-seca Town Council approved a 10.54 million euro budget modification this Friday, February 28, aimed at enhancing urban maintenance, public safety, and local infrastructure.

The extraordinary session began with a manifesto for International Women's Day. Councillors also provisionally approved an amendment to the General Urban Planning Plan, specifically affecting the Vila-seca 3 development area.
The financial measure passed with support from Vila-seca Segura, while PSC, VOX, and Decidim Vila-seca abstained. Vila-seca en Comú voted against the plan. Finance Councillor Elisabet Torrademé stated the funds will support education, housing, and administrative modernization.
Key projects include the second phase of the municipal swimming pool renovation and school maintenance. Additionally, the plenary rejected two motions proposed by VOX regarding access to public buildings and the FuneCamp organization.
