Vilallonga del Camp experienced a festive day with the celebration of Paelles 2026, an event that gathered the community in the town center with activities from morning until evening.

The traditional event, which this year premiered a new location in the heart of the urban area due to the closure of the Parades, allowed for greater proximity among participants and strengthened the sense of community. From early morning, activity was constant, starting with a popular breakfast.
The Associació de Caçadors was responsible for organizing the first meal of the day, which saw a large attendance. Later, at 11 AM, the Burro Català Mecànic offered a moment of entertainment for the whole family. At midday, the Xaranga Bansonats enlivened the after-meal gathering with their festive music.
From 2 PM, the stoves were lit for the preparation of the paellas, bringing together groups of various generations in an atmosphere of conviviality and good gastronomy. This year's edition offered two participation options: the Large Paella, for groups of up to 30 people, and the Medium Paella, for groups of up to 15 people, both receiving an excellent reception.
The festivities continued in the afternoon with a concert by the group Verguenza Ajena, scheduled for 5:30 PM, and a musical session by DJ Nil Cavallé, which brought to a close a day characterized by high participation and a great atmosphere. The Paelles consolidate year after year as one of the most valued events in Vilallonga del Camp's festive calendar, standing out for its ability to foster community life.
