A powerful windstorm has hit Catalonia this Thursday, with gusts exceeding 100 km/h in locations such as the Port of Barcelona and Mataró.

Between midnight and 8 AM, weather stations recorded extreme values. The Port of Barcelona reached 105.1 km/h, while Mataró saw gusts of 104.4 km/h. The highest recorded value was in Molló, Ripollès, at 114 km/h.
In the Pyrenees, high-altitude stations like Espot recorded peaks of 138.6 km/h. The metropolitan area also faced significant winds, with Terrassa and Sabadell reporting gusts over 85 km/h.
