The joint police operation, carried out this week, culminated in the arrest of the gang members in the city of Lleida. This organization specialized in assaults on homes in the Tarragonès region, specifically in El Catllar.

Concurrently, the Catalan police carried out other operations in the Tarragona area. A man was arrested for alleged robberies on local farms, a growing issue in rural areas.

One of the most significant interventions was the dismantling of an illegal marijuana plantation containing approximately 700 plants. This plantation was located in the Manous urbanization, very close to the Mas d’Enric Penitentiary Center, also within the Tarragonès.

All these actions, according to the El Catllar council, were made possible thanks to the exhaustive review of images captured by video surveillance cameras installed in the affected areas.
