The Rodalies R13 line circulation was interrupted between Valls and Salomó since 8:45 AM this Sunday morning due to a freight train breakdown, also causing delays on the R2 sud and R16 lines.

The main incident occurred around 8:45 AM on Sunday, February 8, leading to the suspension of rail service between the Valls and Salomó stations. In response, Renfe implemented an alternative road service to cover the route between La Plana-Picamoixons and Salomó, aiming to minimize disruption for travelers.
In addition to the disruption on the R13, the Rodalies network reported other issues. The R2 sud line, which connects Sant Vicenç de Calders with Barcelona Estació de França via Vilanova i la Geltrú, experienced average delays of approximately 20 minutes.
These delays on the R2 sud are primarily attributed to speed limitations imposed on the railway network, a measure taken to ensure circulation safety along the route.
Finally, the R16 line, which links Barcelona Estació de França with Tortosa and Ulldecona through Tarragona, was the most affected in terms of delay duration, with average delays reaching up to 40 minutes during Sunday morning.
