Lottery administration number 1 in Salou, known as Doña Pilar, distributed part of the first prize of the El Niño Draw (the 06703) on January 6, celebrating with cava having given this important award for the very first time.

The sellers at the administration, located on Barcelona street in Salou, still do not know the exact quantity of winning tickets sold for the number 06703, as the Castellón delegation they belong to was closed. Nevertheless, joy overcame the employees, who quickly put up signs announcing the prize, valued at 200,000 euros per ticket.

"We were missing the Epiphany one, it makes us very excited. We are very lucky, as we have distributed many prizes over 40 years."

Amadeu Jové · Local Manager
The local manager, Amadeu Jové, highlighted that this administration, with over 40 years of history, already has a track record of major prizes. In 2019, they sold a large part of the Christmas Gordo (the 26590), distributing 320 million euros, mainly to the El Cachirulo association in Reus.
Employees indicated that the winning tickets were sold via terminal during the last few days, and that most buyers are local people and those from the surrounding area who specifically look for numbers ending in 3. Mònica and Amadeu Jové stated that the news came as a surprise, as they did not expect to be one of the eleven lucky Catalan municipalities.
