The municipality of Salou celebrates the Cós Blanc this Saturday, February 7, the central event concluding ten intense days of the Winter Festival.

The festive day will begin in the morning, at 10:30 a.m., with the traditional parade showcasing the floats, where the 28 groups involved, featuring over 4,000 people marching, will display their artistic work before a specialized jury assessing originality and design quality.
The culminating event will be in the afternoon, starting at 7:00 p.m., when Passeig Jaume I will transform into the stage for the Cós Blanc, considered the largest confetti rain in Catalonia. This edition anticipates the launch of 30 tons of biodegradable confetti and the attendance of over 50,000 people.

The technical setup will feature 30 confetti towers, over 120,000 watts of sound, 250 moving lights, and live DJ music, offering a large-scale spectacle.

The Salou City Council has reinforced security and logistics, including a special bus service (Cós Blanc – Cap Salou) and the establishment of dissuasive parking areas. Furthermore, Violet and Multicolor Points will be set up next to the marquee to offer support and advice regarding potential situations of sexist violence or discrimination.
