The Territorial Mobility Authority of Camp de Tarragona launched the new Daily Mobility Survey today, January 12, to analyze the displacement habits of the resident population in the region.

The Autoritat Territorial de la Mobilitat del Camp de Tarragona (ATM) has initiated a new edition of the Daily Mobility Survey (EMQ), a crucial study designed to understand the daily commuting habits of the local population.
The main goal of the survey is to analyze mobility habits and gauge the opinion of the resident population. The collected data will serve as an essential tool for future mobility planning across the counties of Alt Camp, Baix Camp, Baix Penedès, Conca de Barberà, Priorat, and Tarragonès.

Participation in the Daily Mobility Survey is mandatory, as it is an official statistic included in the annual statistical action program for Catalonia.

Data collection is carried out through telephone interviews with a random sample drawn from the Catalonia Population Register. Calls began on January 12 and are expected to conclude by the end of March 2026.
This official statistic is prepared by the ATM del Camp de Tarragona in collaboration with Idescat (Statistical Institute of Catalonia) and the Department of Territory, Housing and Ecological Transition. The company Opinòmetre was awarded the public contract to conduct the data collection.
