"The fear of drought is slightly lost"

Marc Brunet · CAT President
This consumption level is similar to that of the last five years, a period in which consumption has always exceeded 70 hm3, with a maximum peak of 77.7 hm3 recorded in 2023. Marc Brunet, the CAT president, noted that the increase has been linear.
The Consortium also provided a summary of investments made, which exceeded 17.1 million euros (MEUR). These funds were primarily allocated to the construction of new reservoirs in Vila-seca (8.4 MEUR) and Cunit (4.6 MEUR). Additionally, with two self-consumption solar plants, the CAT generated 8.9% of the energy it consumed.
