The owners of Churrería Ivette, Gerard Duran and Cristina Bianca Ionica, have turned their mobile business in La Canonja into a TikTok sensation, gathering thousands of followers since last summer.

The live streams conducted by Gerard Duran and Cristina Bianca Ionica from Churrería Ivette have captivated the network, connecting up to 3,000 simultaneous viewers on TikTok. This unexpected success has propelled the business, located in La Canonja during the winter and at La Móra Beach in the summer, far beyond the Camp de Tarragona region.

"Initially we only had 300-400 viewers on TikTok, and little by little, we increased that number to the current 2,400."

The secret to their success lies in the naturalness and relaxed atmosphere they offer, both in person and on screen. The couple, based in Vila-seca, has amassed over 41,000 followers, with some of their videos—where they try churros with unusual fillings like pistachio, Emmental cream, or Pantera Rosa—approaching one million views.
This popularity has had a direct impact on the business, as they have received visits from followers across Spain, including couples from Madrid and Burgos, and even a family from Paris who took advantage of their vacation on the Costa Daurada to meet them. The couple maintains that the live streams are a fun complement that helps them subsist, keeping the churro stand as their main profession.
