The Port of Tarragona announced its participation in 24 international logistics fairs and events throughout 2026 to consolidate its role as a benchmark in the Western Mediterranean and attract new business lines.

The presence of the Port of Tarragona in a total of 24 commercial fairs, congresses, and logistics events throughout 2026 aims to reaffirm its role as a reference port in the Western Mediterranean. This strategy will focus on traditional sectors such as agro-food and petrochemicals, while strengthening its position in diversification areas like general cargo, vehicles, floating offshore wind, and cruises.
Through this commercial activity, the Port Tarragona team will promote the business opportunities linked to the strategic projects currently underway. These include the intermodal terminal in Guadalajara – Marchamalo, the future multipurpose maritime terminal at Moll d'Andalusia (currently in the bidding process), the Logistics Activities Zone (ZAL), and improved rail connectivity thanks to the operational start of the Mediterranean Corridor.
The Port's commitment to external projection is reflected in the diversity of destinations. The commercial team will travel to nearly ten countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Belgium, Turkey, Portugal, and Austria, in addition to various events across Spain, seeking to capture new traffic and commercial lines.
