High-speed train services at Camp de Tarragona station returned to normal this Tuesday, February 10, after major unions cancelled the planned railway strike that was set to last until Wednesday.

The first AVE and Avant trains arriving from Lleida, Tortosa, and Barcelona were on time. This follows the agreement reached on Monday to call off the industrial action, much to the relief of regular commuters.

"I experienced the railway chaos with some uncertainty; today we took a chance."

Only minor delays of approximately five minutes were reported on some later services heading to Valencia. Passengers noted that flight prices had spiked to 600 euros during the period of uncertainty, making rail travel essential.
