IISPV and Cancer League sign agreement to boost oncology research in Tarragona region

The Pere Virgili Health Research Institute (IISPV) and the Cancer League of Tarragona and Terres de l'Ebre have signed a framework agreement to strengthen oncology research and prevention in the region.
The signing of the agreement coincides with the commemoration of World Cancer Day on February 4, establishing a stable cooperation framework lasting 4 years, renewable for 4 more. This alliance aims to improve the health and quality of life of those affected by the disease.
The Cancer League commits to providing annual financial aid to the IISPV specifically earmarked for research projects and prevention initiatives. The first confirmed contribution under this agreement amounts to 68,000 euros.
