The craft beer project La Renaixença, based in L'Espluga de Francolí, has been recognized in the 2025 edition of the Emprèn Awards by the Tarragona Provincial Council.

The craft beer project La Renaixença, originating in L’Espluga de Francolí (Conca de Barberà), was one of the ten winners in the thirteenth edition of the Emprèn Awards. These awards, promoted by the Tarragona Provincial Council, recognize innovative business initiatives across Camp de Tarragona, Terres de l’Ebre, and Baix Penedès.

The ten projects recognized in this 2025 edition each receive an economic endowment of 4,000 euros, in addition to personalized advice to facilitate the growth of their initiatives. Other winners include Neumacare (Calafell), Neuhera (Vandellòs i l’Hospitalet), Explain Up (Tarragona) and Somni Games Studios (Mont-roig).
During the award ceremony, the Deputy Delegate for People and Talent, Vale Pino, highlighted the success of the call, noting that participation in this 13th edition increased by 44% compared to the previous year. Since their creation in 2013, the Emprèn Awards have honored 150 projects out of more than 600 participants.
