Manuel López Pasca, former PSC councillor for Tarragona City Council during two terms, has died in the city at the age of 72, leaving a significant legacy in local politics.

The city of Tarragona mourns the loss of Manuel López Pasca, who passed away at the age of 72. Born in Rosal de la Frontera, in the province of Huelva, he moved to the capital of Tarragona when he was only 10 years old and became closely linked to the Partit dels Socialistes de Catalunya (PSC).
López Pasca served as a councillor for the Tarragona City Council during two periods: first in the opposition (1999-2003) and later as the Councillor for Citizen Relations during the mandate of Mayor Josep Fèlix Ballesteros (2007-2011). After his time in government, he continued as an advisor to the socialists until his retirement.
Beyond municipal politics, López Pasca was a very active figure in the city's social and cultural life. He presided over the Casa de Andalucía de Tarragona, promoting events such as the Feria de Abril and the Romería. He was also president of the Association of Democratic Former Councillors of Tarragona City Council and a declared member of Nàstic football club.
