The La Muntanyeta Foundation, along with the Xarxa Santa Tecla network, will inaugurate its new 60-place residence in the Bonavista neighborhood of Tarragona on February 17, offering a top-tier social service.

The commissioning of the facility, located on the Partió road, will be formalized with the transfer of the first users from the old residence on the Oliva road. The total investment for the execution of this project exceeded 13 million euros, financed by the La Muntanyeta Foundation's own funds, collaborations, and contributions from the European Next Generation funds.
The new building, constructed on a 15,000 m² plot ceded by the Tarragona City Council, offers a total of 60 places, tripling the previous capacity. This center is designed to be a benchmark throughout Catalonia in the care of people with cerebral palsy and other multiple disabilities in the Tarragona region.

The Intermediate Care unit, a pioneer in Spain, will allow the treatment of transitory intercurrent health processes and end-of-life care for people with multiple disabilities.

The building is divided into five units, distributed between the ground floor and the first floor, for twelve users each. Four of these units are for residential use, and one will be dedicated to Intermediate Care hospitalization. Additionally, the facility features extensive common areas, including specialized therapy rooms and an outpatient treatment area of 150 m², a service also pioneering in the Tarragona region.
