The ceded space, which totals 7,168 square meters between the building and the exterior area, will meet the current needs of the center, which currently serves 445 students. This agreement allows the Provincial Council to begin the necessary preliminary studies for the project's tender.
The agreement stipulates that the Tarragona City Council will be responsible for enabling an independent and direct access from the public road, as well as providing essential services (water, electricity, telecommunications). Furthermore, the council commits to preparing the building's garden area for free public access before the new headquarters becomes operational.

The Tarragona Provincial Council must prepare the construction project within 24 months of the concession being granted, following the completion of preliminary studies, which are expected to be finalized during 2026. For its part, the Tarragona City Council plenary session will soon approve the definitive domain concession agreement to give maximum effect to the convention.
