The city of Tarragona reinforced its positioning at the Fitur fair in Madrid, emphasizing its capacity to host major sporting events as a strategy for tourism desesonalization.

The presentation took place at the Catalunya stand under the slogan “Tarragona, 2,000 years of the best sports competitions, from the Roman legacy to the great events of the present”. "To speak of Tarragona and sport today is to speak of a history spanning more than 2,000 years."
