The awards, with a total prize money of 20,000 euros, are sponsored by Repsol, in collaboration with the Port of Tarragona, and supported by the Provincial Council of Tarragona. The competition has established itself as a benchmark for journalism awards due to its high participation and economic endowment.
The finalists for the four categories –Camp de Tarragona Journalism, Tourism Journalism, Local Communication, and Camp de Tarragona Photojournalism– will be announced a few days before the gala.
The Camp de Tarragona Journalism category, with a prize of 8,000 euros, received 30 entries linked to the region. The Tourism Journalism category, offering 6,000 euros and a commissioned paid journalistic work about the town for the winner, attracted 48 entries.
The Local Communication category, with a prize of 3,000 euros, received 32 submissions from journalists in the Camp de Tarragona area. Finally, Camp de Tarragona Photojournalism, also with 3,000 euros, received 45 photographs.
The award ceremony will take place on Friday, November 27th, at 8:30 PM, and will be broadcast live by TAC12 and Ona La Torre. All information is available on the website www.premimanyeiflaquer.cat.
