The Torredembarra City Council, through the Local Police, has acquired ten bicycles of various sizes to improve practical road safety classes at the Parc dels Filadors circuit.

The purchase of this equipment addresses a need detected during educational activities, as some children do not know how to ride a bicycle, have balance difficulties, or lack the resources to own one. With this investment, the Torredembarra council aims to ensure that all students can participate in the training under equal conditions.
Previously, the Filadors park circuit only had five tricycles, which limited maneuverability and activity flow. The ten new bicycles, in two different sizes and with training wheels, will allow practical learning to be adapted to the different ages and abilities of the nearly 1,500 students who visit the space annually.

"this action is a commitment to inclusive and quality road education, ensuring that all children in the municipality have the same opportunities to learn to circulate safely and responsibly"

M. Carmen Martín · Councillor for Citizen Security
The Filadors road safety education park is equipped with horizontal and vertical signage, as well as autonomous traffic lights, designed to promote responsible attitudes from childhood. The space annually hosts schools ranging from kindergarten to secondary education.
